Adjustment and Maintenance Tips
Door Tension: If your Master-Bilt door is standing open or causing icing on the coils, you can often adjust the tension using a flat-blade screwdriver on the bottom hinge device. Turning it counterclockwise until the door self-closes from 6 inches away is generally sufficient.
Alignment: If a door is sagging, you may need to loosen the Phillips head screws on the hinges and use a wedge to reposition the door before retightening. This ensures a proper seal against the frame.
